A Tucson Wedding Map!

Some friends got married this year, and after plans A and B fell through due to covid, they settled on plan C: a small wedding near Tucson, AZ. For their wedding favors they asked for a map of the area that could be given to guests. Each map was rolled in a tube and set out next to the guest book.

The Catalina mountains outside of Tucson are full of canyons, rock outcrops, and scattered with saguaros, chollas, ocotillos, and other similarly spiky plants. It would take months to fully explore the area, and this map just barely begins to outline the beauty of the place.

Wedding Maps

I love the idea of a wedding map. Photographs capture all the big and little moments of the day, but a map of the area is another way to save the memories. As a wedding favor, guests will have something to take home and keep as a way to remember the trip. Or maybe it’s an adventure elopement in a remote and special place - a map can help you share the place and the moment with friends and family, or simply memorialize the place for the couple. If you’re curious about the idea of a wedding map, drop me a note and we can chat.
