A detailed map of Smith Rock State Park. The topography is created from extremely high-resolution elevation data, and even shows individual trees! This makes it quite good for representing the rock faces Smith Rock is known for. Hiking trails are on the map, and prominent features (ie climbing features) are labeled.
All AA Topo maps are created from scratch in Boise, Idaho. "From scratch" means the data is gathered from original sources and brought into a mapping program, where the cartography happens. Layers and layers of data are transformed into meaningful representations of a landscape - with special attention given to color. My hope is that each map evokes the feeling of being in that place.
This map is printed on thick matte paper with vibrant, quality inks.
Paper size: 16x20 inches with 0.5 inch white border
**All prints sold unframed**
This product is made especially for you as soon as you place an order, which is why it takes a bit longer to deliver it to you. Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions!
