Sedona Mountain Bike Map
Sedona honestly blew my expectations out of the water. I’m always excited to check out new trails, but I was not prepared for the fact that I would nearly have a perpetual grin on my face for the sheer fun of it! We started off our stay with a ride on the Slim Shady - Templeton trails, which was a great introduction to the area. The next day we doubled up and rode Hiline in the morning and the Broken Arrow area in the afternoon. On our final day we rode in the Western Gateway area, which was more smooth and sandy and a little more of a kick back and pedal type of ride.
Coming from Boise, where there are so few rocks in the trails we nearly have them all named, spending time in a place that is almost all rock is such a fun challenge. I hope to return again soon - there’s so much I didn’t get to ride and see.
I really enjoyed working on this map with an image of Sedona fresh in my mind. This map is a pretty literal look at the landscape there, which is so unique it needs no enhancement.
